A friend of mine is expecting a baby girl. A few days ago I went through my stash looking for inspiration. I came up with a gorgeous Tahki Donegal Tweed in this subtle sort of heathered pinkish plum color with bits of green in it. I instantly thought "itty bitty kimono." For 2 days I poured through all of my children's pattern books and searched online. I couldn't find anything close to what I was picturing in my head. So I picked up some needles and decided to go at it alone.
